The park, stretching over 33,800 hectares south of Agadir, is distinguished by its remarkable biological diversity and ecological variety. It harbors over 300 plant species, including the argan tree. Among the 24 recorded mammal species are foxes, jackals, hares, deer, and porcupines. With its 250 bird species, including the bald ibis, which houses the largest colony in the world, the park also offers a colorful spectacle, especially with red-necked ostriches.
Located an hour's drive south of Agadir, the park offers an enchanting natural excursion with its varied landscapes and rich fauna. Visitors can explore its impressive landscapes, including sand dunes, wetlands, and forests, while participating in activities such as birdwatching and animal observation.
This natural sanctuary harbors a diverse fauna and flora, including endangered species such as the bald ibis, dama gazelle, addax, dama gazelle, ostrich, and dorcas gazelle. To learn more about these endangered species, visitors are encouraged to explore the on-site museum upon arrival. With thirty mammal species, thirty amphibians, thirty reptiles, and two hundred bird species, there is much to see during your guided exploration of the area.
